The internet has created an influx of creative, talented people into the public eye. These days it is easy to ask, “what discerns one creative person from the next in a surging ocean of talent?”
While there are many possible answers, (such as professionalism, raw talent and past experience) sometimes it’s actually much more enigmatic. Sometimes you just know. Sometimes you find that person compliments an idea or project perfectly.
On this site I have compiled a cross-section of my work with the exception of my current projects. I am constantly working so updates are always around the corner. Please take a look around, and I hope you find what you’re looking for.
About Me.
Kurt Kubicek is an International Award-Winning Filmmaker, who has been producing and directing films, commercials, and music videos for the last decade. Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Kurt spent his entire life interested in the way music and film entertained, thrilled, and moved us emotionally.
He has directed and produced national commercials and docu-series for Toyota, national campaigns (commercials, photos) for D1 Fitness Training, Visit West Hollywood, music videos for Atlantic Records and his films can be streamed on multiple platforms, including, the feature-length documentary, "1/10 of a Second", the feature film, "Un Regalo Esencial (An Essential Gift)" and Jamie Kennedy's latest comedy special, "Stoopid Smart".
In his podcast debut, Queen Havoc, a true crimes series from IHeart Radio, Kurt explores the human condition and the extreme lengths that individuals will go to belong to the death cult of the female Charles Manson, and her reign of terror over South Africa.
